Started in 1974, Jeff Vogel had a passion for the outdoors. He spent most of his youth exploring the pinelands and enjoying hunting, fishing and hiking. This passion for the outdoors carried over into the landscaping field.
The company steadily grew throughout the years and in 1995 Jeff’s only son of six children took over. Matt began to branch the company out into different areas of service which now include not only landscaping and maintenance, but also hardscaping, ponds, patios, decks, irrigation, drainage, nightscaping and so much more.
As we grow, we seek out employees who share that “family business” feeling that we enjoy sharing with our clients, who all are like family.

The founder of the company, Jeff still works with the company meeting with clients, designing jobs and managing installation projects.

Owner
The owner of the company since 1995, Matt is constantly overseeing development and growth of the company while training staff to provide the “Carefree” lifestyle that our clients enjoy.
Aleda Vogel
Office Manager
With a background in management, Aleda is currently managing our office, directly interacting with clients and vendors. Aleda and Matt have been married since 1995 and have three children.

Lead Foreman
Chris has been with the company for over 15 years. As a lead foreman, Chris brings dedication and experience to the Carefree team. Friendly and outgoing, Carefree clients enjoy working directly with him.
